Position: The Lab Scientist
Currently, the agency is looking to fill a full-time position for a Laboratory Technician in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The position reports directly to the Lab Scientist and requires several responsibilities, such as:
- Matching computer orders with specimen labeling
- Sorting specimens
- Logging specimens
- Maintaining a clean work floor
- Conducting group responsibilities accurately and on time
- Updating laboratory checklists,
- Creating a safe environment by keeping work areas clean and equipment uncontaminated and
- Providing assistance in various laboratory functions.
Other responsibilities include:
- Performing laboratory inventory proficiently
- Maintaining equipment properly
- Performing quality control on various laboratory equipment
- Using a Lab Information Management System for specimen tracking
- Results entry and reporting
- Contributing to a safe and secure environment for patients
- Visitors, physicians, and co-workers
- Maintaining patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential
- Adhering to professional standards
- Laboratory policies and procedures

Requirements for Applying as Laboratory Technician at Remote Accounting Hub
